Brand was recognized as a premium champagne by kings,
emperors and aristocrats, and received royal warrants
from the King of Prussia, Emperor of Germany (1818), the
British Crown (1911), and the Swedish Crown, King Gustav
(1933), or Tsar Nicolas II whom orders for HEIDIECK &
C° MONOPOLE reached the quantity of 400.000 bottles for
his personal cellar.
It is no wonder that HEIDIECK & C° MONOPOLE distributed
1,million bottles world wide during 1895 and was considered
by connoisseurs as a very great wine. |
